14th Anniversary Party

21 September 2009 - Year 2009 marks 14 years since Leo Club of KL Unity was initially formed. To celebrate the occassion, we threw acasual party at my place. The event started at around 7.30pm and we were grateful that our sister clubs and other Leo clubs turned up. It provided us the opportunity to get to know each other better. It was also great to see PDG Lion Sam, Lion Molly and Lion Nicholas turn up as they never failed to show their support.

Me addressing the audience

...while everybody listened carefully. (Except for Leo Yuki =P)

Food served that night were pretty much prepared & sponsored by our own leos. Menu included sandwiches, nuggets, salad, fried noodles, shepherd’s pie, pizza and KFC. Needless to say, the guests were well fed with some of them kept going back for more helpings. A short speech was then delivered along with a roll call before we played Charades. Almost everybody got a chance to get out act and with acts like aqua, hard gay and lala - laughters were soon flowing freely. It was all in good fun nonetheless.

With Lion Nicholas, Lion Molly and PDG Lion Sam - Thanks for coming!

A cake cutting ceremony was then held and the guests sang a birthday song to the club. After that, we took a group photo before indulging on the lovely cheesecake. It was one of those fun fun fun nights we wished didn’t end. So when the guests started leaving, we were left thinking, “Let’s do another get together social gathering soon!”

"Say Cheese!"

"Say Chicken!"

Roar!

[PS: No pictures of the food... yet? Guess everybody's busy eating than taking photos. ;-) ]
