PECH Visit 25/8

Today, the Leos made another of their monthly visits to PECH!

Leo Tze Yoong, Leo Jia Hong and Leo Guo Zhang arrived at PECH at 4.30 pm.

this time, the main activity was finger paiting.

After a brief introduction to the finger paint, the kids got down to painting.

See the gooey coloured things in the containers? That's the finger paint ;)

After the children were done, we placed the paintings outside to let them dry.

Meanwhile, the 3 Leos and Leo Daniel who arrived slightly later, played with them.

We first played 'Musical Chairs'

Then we moved on to other games such as 'oo7 Bang!' and 'the Handkerchief Game'

The Leos ordered Canadian Pizza and the children , hungry from the exercise they got, were eager to eat.

The day was far from over though.

At 8 pm, Leo June (and friend), Leo Thiam Beng, Leo Daniel, Leo Kim and Leo Guo Zhang brought 14 of the children from PECH to watch the fireworks display in Putrajaya in conjunction with the Malaysian International Fireworks Competition.

We arrived at Putrajaya at 10pm due to the traffic jam.

Nevertheless, the children got the chance to see the spectacular fireworks display by the Italian team.

It was truly an eye opening experience for both the children and the Leos.

Followed by the secretaries.
Then came the directors' turn.

Later, the vice-presidents got installed.Last but certainly not least, was the presidents' turn.
Once the installations were done, awards were given out, namely the Young Ambassadors Award.

Our very own Leo Kimberly got first place and was awarded a trophy and cash prize of RM1000. Congrats Kim!
Then came the entertainment where Tan Eong Xien of Taylor's College represented KLU with his great guitar playing.

Thanks Eong Xien!
The Leo Club of SMK Damansara Utama also performed their version of Sway by the Pussycat Dolls.
Lunch was provided for all and as usual, Leos of KLU "makan"-ed together
