We attended the MD308 Leo Forum 2012 which took part in Langkawi for 3 days and 2 nights. The first day began with a forum tour to the cable car and registration of participants. Later that night there was the opening ceremony as well as the fellowship night dinner. The 2^nd day began with a short seminar for each board of directors to enhance their knowledge on their respective roles. After that there was the award presentation and the banquet night dinner that follows after. On the last day, there was the closing ceremony and we headed back to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon.

We have achieved 9 project awards including (Environmental, Leo with children, Leo serving together with Lions, innovative, community service, club bulletin, fund raising, and international relationship)

Leo Maggie has achieved Outstanding Leo Member Award, Leo Teh Jie Lin has achieved Top Treasurer Award, Leo Peir Ee has achieved Top Secretary Award, Leo Heng Kok Yi has achieved Top President Award

And The Leo Club of KL Unity is presented the Top Leo Club in MD308 B1 for 2012.

Contribution to The Community Service Centre for the Deaf

From our previous BLOG posted on the 18th March 2012. Our Fundraising project for the Community Service Centre for the Deaf (CSCD) which we managed to raise Fund during Valentine Day by selling cookies made by CSCD’s Baker.

Blog on the 18th of March 2012. 

This project was organized to raise funds for them and our club managed to sell everything that we ordered. After that project has successfully carry out, Leo Club of KL Unity agree to contribute a total sum of RM 2,000.00 to CSCD.

Leo Kok Yi went there on 21st of April 2012 afternoon to present the cheque to them.

10th Twinning Anniversary Dinner of Leo Club of KLCC and Leo Club of The Peak

On the 4^th of April, we attended the 10^th twinning anniversary dinner of the Leo Club of KLCC and the Leo Club of The Peak from Hong Kong at Songket, a restaurant the serves local cuisine.

The dishes that was served on that night, Beef Rendang, Ikan Masak Lemak, Ayam Pandan, Paku Pakis Belacan and the dessert, Durian Tiramisu.
