This fund raising project was organized by our sponsoring
Lions club, The Lions Club of KL North. This project is dedicated to promote
staying healthy. Participants with a minimum contribution or solicitation of
RM30 are entitled to a goodie-bag which consists of vouchers, drinks, snacks,
health care product and an umbrella.
Leos of KL Unity were assigned to be marshals and our duty
was to maintain the safety of the participants and also to guide them to the
correct route. There were 290 participants walking the route that day and the
route was 3.7km long.
Unfortunately there were no pictures of us in action as all
of us were busy controlling the traffic.
After the walk, the participants were guided into the hall
as there was Line Dancing performance inside the Hall.
Eye screening counter for public to get their visions tested
for free as well as bone density test, health screening service, organ
pledge
hsCRP test which cost RM10 per test. It is to test for
potential risk of having heart attack. Lastly, the Co-Sponsors Booth to
advertise themselves.
