Leo Kimberly, Leo Thiam Beng and Leo Guo Zhang joined as camp facilitators.
On the first day, Leo Thiam Beng and Leo Guo Zhang was present. (Kim came on 14th as she was having lectures until the 13th)
We helped out at the registration counter where a total of 120 campers registered.
Our very own DG came and officiated the camp.
The campers were divided into 12 groups of 10. Each group had a facilitator to guide them.
They were to make up their own team name, cheer and shield.(They were pretty creative, too!)
and later present it to the rest of the campers.
Later in the afternoon, the campers had games out at the field
where they played games like 'the human knot'
and the 'human caterpillar'
Over the course of the next few days, campers went for outdoor activities such as
rafting,
going through the flying fox
abseiling,
climbing the 12 foot wall
and crossing the obstacle course.
Of course, there were also indoor activities such as the group presentations
At the end of the camp, the Vice DG came for the closing ceremony and handed everyone their certificates of participation/facilitation.
And before we all left for home, we took group pictures!
And that concludes YES camp '07!
