Contribution to The Community Service Centre for the Deaf

From our previous BLOG posted on the 18th March 2012. Our Fundraising project for the Community Service Centre for the Deaf (CSCD) which we managed to raise Fund during Valentine Day by selling cookies made by CSCD’s Baker.

Blog on the 18th of March 2012. 

This project was organized to raise funds for them and our club managed to sell everything that we ordered. After that project has successfully carry out, Leo Club of KL Unity agree to contribute a total sum of RM 2,000.00 to CSCD.

Leo Kok Yi went there on 21st of April 2012 afternoon to present the cheque to them.

Lions Club of KL North 39th Anniversary Dinner

 

Date: 15th October 2011 (Saturday) 
Time: 7pm to 11pm
Venue: Sunway Lagoon Club
Guest of Honour: District Governor Dr Ben C Ng 


Leo Joshua and Leo Kok Yi attended Sponsor Club Lions Club of KL North 39th Anniversary Dinner on the 15th October 2011 at the Sunway Lagoon Club.

Once again from Leo Club of KL Unity (O), we would like to wish our Sponsoring Lions Club a HAPPY 39th Anniversary... 

ROAR ROAR ROAR.... 

Trip Up North to visit Sister Club - Leo Club of Tanjung, Penang.

Date: 09th - 11th September 2011 (Saturday) 2 Days 1 Night.  

Venue: The children protection home, Penang

Members present: Leo Kan Sha

Leo Kan Sha reaches Penang on the 9^th of September night and stay with his sister club member, Leo Raymin for the night. Next morning, they headed off to The Children Protection home for a community service activity with their sister club as well from Singapore, Leo Club of Singapore Polytechnic.

  

 

Cleaning of the Children home was done accordingly and Leo Kan Sha helped up in sweeping the garden leaf with the rest and also communicates with the Children there.

  

After finish cleaning the area, there is a second home beside it which has not been use due to lack of Fund. So the housekeeper asks to clean the leaf and surrounding area only.

After a tiring afternoon, everyone was happy and group picture was taken together with the kids.

That night, Leo Club of Tanjung, Penang organized a BBQ Party at one of their member’s house at the beach side.
