40th Multiple District 308 Leo Forum 2013

We attended the 40th MD308 Leo Forum 2013 which took part in Port Dickson for 3 days and 2 nights. The first day began with the registration of participants and opening ceremony.

Later that was the fellowship night dinner with the theme of Circus Night.

The 2nd day began with the theme talk and the MyLCI for the key officers of each club. After that there was the team building session, respective district award presentation :-

Omega Leo Club of KL Unity  have achieved 4 project awards for fiscal year 2012/2013 including
- Environmental,
- Leo with children,
- Community service
- Fund raising.

Leo Peggy has achieved Excellent Treasurer Award,
Leo Jessie has achieved Excellent Secretary Award,
Leo Peir Ee has achieved Excellent President Award.

And Leo Club of KL Unity is presented the Excellent Leo Club in MD308 B1 for 2013.

and the banquet night dinner that follows after.

On the last day, there was the closing ceremony and we headed back to Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon.

Charter Night – Lions Club of Kuala Lumpur Pavilion

Date : 18th May 2013(Saturday)

Time : 7.00p.m. – 10.30p.m.
Venue : Bukit Jalil Golf & Country Club
Attendance : 2 Members - Leo Kan Sha Leo Joshua

District 308 B1 recently form another New Lion Club – LION CLUB OF KUALA LUMPUR PAVILION which they had their charter night on the 18th of May 2013.

The event started at 7.30pm with Welcoming address from Presiding Officer and Roll Call. Set Meal course was then served. In between the meal, Induction and Installation Ceremony was held together with presentation of Charter Certificate and address by Newly Inducted Charter President, Lion Nick Tan gave his speech.

Lastly, words of encouragement from Guest of Honor, 308 B1 District Governor, Lion Chan Hoi gave his speech. Presentation of Momentous was presented to the Guest of Honor, Lion Chan Hoi.

The event continues on with Entertainment and Fellowship till 10.30pm.
