4 in 1 Health Screening

Lions club of KL North organized a project which was held on the 26 September 2010 at 10am in Seri Kembangan multi purpose hall, jalan besar as slogan "DONATE ORGAN TO SAVE LIFE" which includes Health & Diabetic Screening, Eye Checking, Blood Donation and Organ Pledge.

Leo Joshua and Leo Troare reached the place at 10am 30 while the 4 Leos of Jinjang and 1 Leo PJI were already there, lots of lions attended as well.

The work was shared as followed:1 table provided for breakfast during the project for those who give blood or need,1 table for blood pressure check, 1 table for urine check, some tables for registration, 1 table for eyes check some beds for taking blood, etc.

Leo Joshua Tan was calling the names of donors of blood, some helping in the eyes checking table and those at the gate, likewise the lions also kept walking all over the hall to make sure the event when on smoothly. Lunch was then distributed to everyone who help up in this event. 

LIONESS CLUB of KL North Charity Food Fair

The Lioness Club ok KL North has collaborated with MBCS to organize a charity food fair , with the Lions Club of KL North and Leo Club of KL Unity, as well as Leo Clubs from SMK Jinjang and La Salle helping out as well.

Leo Wei Keat, Leo Joshua, Leo Kan Sha, Leo Sheng Wei as well as 2 guests gathered in Leo Eong Xien’s house at about 7am to help prepare the sandwiches. 

Then at about 8.30am, everyone left for Dewan Serbaguna SS3/14. Everyone arrived in Dewan Serbaguna at about 9am, and the Leos began to set up the stall and display the sandwiches as well. Besides that, Leo Cindy has also prepared an Indonesian delicacy to be served during the event as well. Leo Club of SMK Jinjang set up their stall beside us.

During the event, some Leos helped managed to the food stall, whereas some Leos went over to Leo Club of SMK La Salle stall to help out. Leo Club of SMK La Salle decided to open a game stall where participants must throw balls at stacked cans. As there was only one Leo present at that time, some Leo members from our side decided to help him.

The crowd began to thin at about 12.30pm, so all the Leos started to clean up the area. The event officially ended at about 1pm.         

Leo School 2010/2011

Venue                                    :          Methodist Boy School

On the 4^th of September 2010, Leo Joshua, Leo Kan Sha and Leo Traore attended the Leo School of 2010/2011 which was organized by Leo Club of KL Perennial at the Methodist Boy School. The event started at 9.30am. It started with an opening address by Lion Mark Chua and continues on with Lion Sashekala talk about introduction of LEO Clubs.

After a short break, everyone is segregated to their own respective school. President and Secretary school, Treasurer School and Director/Member school.

Session ended almost 2 hour and lunch was provided. Group picture was then organized and Souvenir and Certificated was presented to respective club. Event ended at 1.30pm.

Leo Club of KL Unity 15th Anniversary Dinner - August 2010

We Leo Club of KL Unity celebrated our 15^th Anniversary Dinner on the 28^th August 2010, at Amarda Hotel, PJ. People who attended our Anniversary Dinner were Lions club of KL North, Our Sister Club, Leos from SMK Jinjang, and SMK Sultan Abdul Samad, others Leo clubs and invited guests.

Event started at 7.45pm with Leo Joshua and Leo Maggie was MC of the day.

Event when on with slideshow displaying 15 years of KL Unity pass and present memory, OC Leo Eong Xien, President Leo Wei Keat and sponsoring club KL North President Lion Wesley gave their own speech respectively.  

Presenting of momento & retire of KL Unity old was done by Leo Wei Keat. Birthday cake was then presented and cutting ceremony was done with all KL Unity members with Lion Club of KL North Lions.

Overall dinner organized by the hotel was perfect. Performance that night was wonder girls dance, solo singing and group singing.
