On the 23rd
of March 2014, a new Omega Leo Club from 308B1 was born. Leo Club of KL Unity
attended the formation Night of Leo Club of HELP COLLEGE OF ARTS AND TECTNOLOGY
(HELP CAT) @ their college. Leo Club of HELP CAT is sponsored by Lions Club of
Ampang.
The event registration
started at 6pm onward with Light refreshment ready for their VIPs and guests.
Meeting called to order by Presiding Officer, President of Lions Club of
Ampang, Lion Terence Foo. Follow by Roll Call, Address by Lion Terence Foo.
Initiation of all New
Members & Installation of Founding President and Board of Director was done
by DC for Leo Lion Foo Sew Yow and 308B1 District Governor, Lion Lau Teng Chye
respectively.
After that was done,
chartered certificate presentation, handing over chain of office & also
accepting speech by Founding Leo President, Leo Ho Chih Ming. Last but not
least, speech by special guest and also District Governor, Lion Lau Teng
Chye.
Entertainment, Social
and Buffet Dinner was next once meeting is adjourned by Presiding Officer,
President Terence Foo. The event ended at 9pm.
