The Lions Club of KL North had organized a 4 in 1 Health Community Service Project at Sri Petaling Hotel for the residents of Seri Petaling and surrounding areas. The bright and shining sun brought cheers to the folks and as early as 9.00 am, residents were queing up for registration although the event only starts at 10 am - 4 pm. Leo Teddy attended in the morning shift while Leo Kan Sha attended afternoon shift. Alpha Leos of SMK Jinjang too was present at event.
Aim of this project is to let the public aware of the free health check. 4 different type health: Blood Pressure, Cholesterol, Glucose Level and BMI, Eye Test & Organ Pledges. Each has its own booth and many people attended this project.
There’s even a short speech on organ pledge by organ donor and author of the book " I don't know you But let me save you" Ms. Chew Hoong Ling and and a health talk conducted by the Founder of Messrs. Best World Lifestyle Sdn. Bhd. Dr. Doreen Tan on the topic " Lets eat right to keep FIT".
The whole project ended about 5.30pm
