Leo Orientation 2007

Earlier today, our club held a Leo Orientation at Rukun Tetangga OUG Sektor E & G. It was organised primarily for new or potential members and new Leo clubs (formed 2006 and 2007). However, the turnout was quite poor because many of those invited had prior commitments.
Nevertheless, the event went on, with Lion Dr. Ben C. Ng, DC for Leo Clubs first talking about the Leo Program. Its history, objectives and other such information.

After the presentation on the Leo Program, the participants were shown a video clip of Leo Clubs around the world doing their bit to help, and the Leos talking about the benefits they acquired for themselves and for the community.

The orientation continued with Lion Ben Sng from the Lions Club of KL North talking about the duties of the various board members.

Lion Ben's presentation was very interactive as he asked questions and chocolates were given to the participants who answered correctly.

Later, Lion Dr. Ben continued with a talk on teamwork and team spirit in the Club. He taught the Leos how to work as a team and what you should do to be an effective team member.

The project concluded with the presentation of mementos to the speakers Lion Dr. Ben...
