PECH Oral Healthcare

Earlier this afternoon, the Leos and Lion Dr. Ben C. Ng, a dental surgeon/ oral implantologist went over to Praise Emmanuel Children's Home (PECH) to educate the children on proper oral healthcare.
Lion Dr. Ben first introduced himself and what he does...... while the children listened attentively.

after asking the children a few questions like "what happens if you don't brush your teeth?", Lion Dr. Ben proceeded to show the children the proper way to brush their teeth.

after that, it was a hands-on session where the children, excited with their new toothbrushes queued to collect water in their cups.

The Leos helped squeeze a dollop of toothpaste on the children's toothbrushes...
...and the session began when all the children were ready.the children tried to remember and follow the steps that they were taught, while Lion Dr. Ben continued to guide them with his big teeth and toothbrush.

after that, the children washed up and the project continued with a Q&A session, where one of the questions required a child to demonstrate the proper way to brush their teeth. A small tube of Propolis toothpaste was the prize for answering questions.

to conclude the project, Club President Leo Thiam Beng presented 20 tubes of toothpaste to the Home.
